Dare to dream big

Not all that long ago, Samantha Wills made jewellery at home and sold her wares at a market in Sydney. These days, Samantha lives in New York selling her amazing designs to the world. She has successfully collaborated with big brands such as Yellowglen and the McGrath Foundation, and is an online influencer, followed by hundreds of thousands of people. I was lucky enough to see Samantha talk about building her brand a few months back, and one little thing that she said keeps popping back into my mind:

Dream big, because what is the point of dreaming small?

It’s time to combine everything that you have learned and project it into who you want to be.

Once you have started, opportunities begin to arise not just because you are open to them, but because you are making opportunities for yourself. Dreams get bigger, but dreams can also become a reality.

So today I dare you to dream big.

Here’s some tips from Samantha to get you on your way:

• Put polish on everything that you do;
• Make people believe that you are a big business;
• Act like you have made it already;
• Say yes (and figure it out later!); then
• Behind closed doors, hustle like it’s nobody’s business!
