I'm Phoebe - a corporate lawyer turned brand and marketing strategist based in Sydney, Australia. I'm passionate about helping businesses and individuals stand out in an ever-changing digital world. 

Given you've stopped by my site, it's only fair that I tell you a little bit about me and what I do. 

Over the course of my career I've been fortunate to do some pretty cool and diverse things, from working on some of the biggest patent litigation cases in Australia, to helping start ups build a stand out presence online and advising some of Australia's biggest brands on their advertising and marketing strategy. If you have read some of my posts, you have probably already worked out that I'm passionate about helping Millennials build a career and life they love. I'm passionate because I know what it's like to feel stuck in a career that you don't love. When doing the "right thing" feels wrong, and you're desperate for some career and life advice. 

At the start of my career, I thought I had everything figured out. I had a highly sought after graduate position and I was excited to get stuck into the career that I had worked so hard for. Fast forward a few years and I couldn't stop thinking that I was stuck in the wrong role for me. My confidence was low and I had no idea what I wanted to do next.

I started sharing my thoughts on my first version of this blog, appropriately titled "Making It Up". Fast forward a few years, and I've found a career that I love and no longer feel stuck in a job that's not for me. These days my focus is on sharing real advice and stories to help you... whether you are looking for career advice, personal branding tips, or want to build your confidence, my focus is on creating practical resources and tips that you can act upon.
