See you in 2015!
The end of the year has snuck up on me, and it would be wrong to let 2014 pass without a little note to thank you for visiting Making It Up. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on my journey this year: from family and friends, to the long list of people that I have met and reconnected with, and even the people on the street who have let me know they read the blog! Thanks also to everyone who has submitted ideas and told me what they want to read about on Making It Up, and the people who have inspired me, made time to support and guide me… I appreciate it more than you would know.
The last six or so months have been so full of learning and growth for me – it is really amazing what you can do when you set your mind to it! It has been great to cap the year off with my 12-Day Christmas special (make sure you check it out in full if you haven’t already, it won’t be around forever!) – which was both fun and challenging for me to work on. Definitely have made a note to myself not to bite off more than I can chew the fortnight before Christmas! In addition to learning about organisation, it was also great to challenge myself and I loved (almost!) every minute of it.
I am taking a digital detox for the next week and a bit. I am heading off to Thailand early tomorrow morning and can’t wait to soak up the sun and relax!
Something high on my agenda (in between swimming, drinking cocktails and eating delish Thai food of course) is to reflect on, and develop, my ideas for Making It Up in 2015 and how I can make my dreams for this site a reality.
Exciting things coming to Making It Up include the newsletter (I know, I have dragged my feet on this – but it’s now on the top of my list!), resources, tools and tricks for you, an eBook (I am SO excited about this!) and a little bit more about me and what I am up to. If there is anything that you would like covered on Making It Up, or if you would just like to get in touch, please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org - I would love to hear from you!
All the best for a happy and safe 2015!
Finally: a big shout out to my 24/7 tech support ("volunteer", of course!). Without you, we either would not be here today, or I would have aged 20 years. Thanks Tom! (I haven't told him all the things I want to do with the site next year yet...)
